ORDERS

1. PLACING AN ORDER

When you are ready to purchase the items that you have placed in your basket you can simply click on the shopping bag icon located at the top right of the page and you will be directed to your basket. Here you will be able to use our shipping rates calculator to work out how much the shipping would be for your order. Remember to select the correct delivery country from the drop down menu and enter the correct postal/zip code. Click on the Calculate rates buttons to see what the shipping costs are. Check that you are happy with the products in your bag and click on Checkout.

2. BILLING & SHIPPING INFORMATION

You can sign into your account if you have one or if this is your first visit, register with us for quicker future visits. Alternatively, you can opt to check out as a guest if you prefer. Once you make your selection, just click on continue or sign in.
 
Complete all required sections, these are highlighted for you with an asterix (*). If possible, please enter a phone number where we can reach you should we need to discuss your order. If you are shipping to an alternative delivery address, please select ship to different address and complete the highlighted section. When you are ready, just click continue to shipping method.
 

3. SHIPPING METHOD

You can now review your delivery method. All orders placed before 3.00 pm on weekdays, will be despatched the same day. Orders placed after 3.00 pm will be despatched the next day. This timeframe may increase during exceptionally busy periods such as Christmas or during the sale period. For more information, please view our Shipping & Delivery page. You can review all changes before you pay.
 

4. PAYMENT INFORMATION 

You should now be at the payment stage where you can select your payment method. Currently we accept IDeal, Credit cards, Sofort and PayPal payments. You will be directed to the site of the payment provider to complete the payment. Please see our FAQs for a full list of all possible payment options.

5. ORDER REVIEW

Please spend a minute to review your order one last time. Remember, we can’t make any changes to the order once it has been submitted to us. If you would like to go back over your delivery address, just click "Edit" on the shipping information section and it will open for you. Once you are happy with your details you can go ahead and complete your order by clicking complete order. Once all payment information has been entered, you will receive your order confirmation per email.

RETURNS

We want all our customers to fall in love with their chosen items. However, if you're unhappy with your purchase, please let us know as soon as possible and return within 30 days of purchase.

1. RETURN PROCEDURE

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with the tag still attached.

Perishable goods such as food and cosmetics are exempt from being returned. 

Please notify us before sending your return so we can expect the items.

2. RETURN ADDRESS

3. RETURN COSTS

The postage and handling of your return is your responsibility. Please ensure that you obtain proof of postage when sending your parcel back as we cannot be held responsible for any orders that do not arrive back to us.

If you are returning an item over £50,- you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. You may be able to claim compensation through your chosen return service if you have proof of postage. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

4. REFUND (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Returns can only be refunded to the person who originally placed and paid for the order, and the refund can only be processed back to the same payment method. Refunds can take up to 14 days after receipt of the return.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@alittlepieceofhappiness.com.

5. EXCHANGES

We are not able to offer an exchange service on unwanted goods.
The quickest and easiest way for you to get exactly what you want in a different colour or size is to simply return the unwanted item and order another.

In case the received item is not what you ordered, defective or damaged, just send us an email at info@alittlepieceofhappiness.com and explain the issue. We will do our utmost to solve it in the best possible way.
